Overnight incidents 7/8 April 2025

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate fire involving a mattress and rubbish at 7:25pm on Britnall Street, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:05pm.

Two fire crews from Central and Birley stations were called out to a deliberate fire in woods at 7:30pm on Daresbury View, Sheffield. The crews came away at 8:45pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended a deliberate grassland fire at 7:55pm on Castle Grove, Moorgate, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:25pm on Station Court, Doncaster railway station, Trafford Way, Doncaster. Firefighters from Rossington station attended the incident. They left at 8:45pm.

Firefighters from Rossington, Edlington and Adwick stations were called out to a garage fire at 9:40pm on Chequer Road, Hyde Park, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 10:25pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving wood and rubbish at 10:10pm on Psalters Lane, Holmes, Rotherham. The crew came away at 11:15pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a premise on Rainton Road, Hyde Park, Doncaster at 10:10pm. The small accidental fire was in the kitchen area. There were no reports of any casualties. The crew left the scene at 10:40pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:30pm on Tinsley Park Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 10:45pm.

Three wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire on High Street, Ecclesfield, Sheffield at 6:40am. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 7:35am.
