Overnight incidents 24/25 April 2025

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7pm on West Road, Pogmoor, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 7:15pm.

Lowedges firefighters were called out to a deliberate grass fire at 7:30pm on Lowedges Crescent, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate motorbike fire at 7:45pm on South Drive, Bolton upon Dearne, Barnsley. The crew came away at 8:05pm.

Thorne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a carpet at 8:05pm on Silver Street, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 8:05pm on West Road, Pogmoor, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 8:30pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended an accidental fire involving a wheelie bin and garden fence at 8:35pm on Bishopgarth Close, Bentley, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:05pm.

Two fire crews from Rivelin and Elm Lane stations were called out to an accidental rubbish fire at 9pm on Myers Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:25pm.

Adwick firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving a washing machine in the road at 9pm on Central Avenue, Woodlands, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:25pm.

Firefighters from Thorne station were called out to an accidental fire involving a recycling box and fence at 9:55pm on Junction Road, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

Birley firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:50pm on Long Acre View, Sheffield. The crew came away at 12:45am.
