Weekend incidents 13/15 June 2025

Friday 13 June

Firefighters from Thorne and Doncaster stations were called out to a deliberate caravan fire at 10pm on Tudworth Roundabout, Hatfield, Doncaster. The crews left the scene at 10:45pm.

Two fire crews from Edlington and Doncaster stations attended an accidental fire involving a hedge which had spread to the outside of a property on Broomhouse Lane, Balby, Doncaster at 10:15pm. The crews came away at 11:15pm.

Saturday 14 June

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 4:50pm on Stacey Crescent, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 5:10pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to an accidental garden fire which had spread to a garage at 10:25pm on Kings Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 10:45pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11:45pm on Stainton Lane, Maltby, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 1:05am.

Sunday 15 June

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended a deliberate van fire at 12:50am on Penistone Road, Owlerton, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1:50am.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving decking and a hedge at 9:35am on Crowder Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:05am.

Three fire crews from Rivelin, Elm Lane and Central stations attended a premise fire at 4:20pm on Withens Avenue, Sheffield. The accidental fire was in the kitchen and is believed to have been caused by cooking. A man was assisted from the property and left in the hands of paramedics. The crews came away at 6:10pm.
