Three fire crews from Rivelin and Central stations were called out to a premise on Common Side, Sheffield at 7:20pm. Firefighters found a small accidental fire in the kitchen. Crews left the scene at 9:20pm.

Several fire crews attended a deliberate fire involving a large number of vehicles at 11:15pm on Sussex Street, Sheffield. The crews came away at 1:50am.

Saturday 2 August

Firefighters from Aston and Maltby stations were called out to an accidental fire involving car parts in a barn/open shelter at 1:05pm on Houghton Road, North Anston, Rotherham. The crews left the scene at 3:05pm.

A grain silo was accidentally on fire at 3:50pm on Rough Lane, Wortley, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley and Elm Lane stations attended the incident. They left at 4:30pm.

Thorne firefighters were called out to a sofa and fence on fire which had spread to the outside of a property at 8:10pm on Miller Close, Thorne, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 9:20pm.
