A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 7:15pm on Green Lane, Carr, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 8:20pm.

Three fire crews from Tankersley, Elm Lane and Rivelin stations were called out to a premise fire at 7:35pm on Harvey Street, Sheffield. Firefighters rescued a woman from the property who was left in the care of the ambulance crews. A dog and cat were also rescued, and firefighters gave them oxygen at the scene. The accidental fire was in the kitchen area. Crews left the scene at 9:10pm.
