Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to a living room fire on Merlin Way in Sheffield on Saturday 5 August at 7:17am.
Upon arrival, crews found that the fire was confined to a rubbish bin but had created a considerable amount of smoke logging in the property.
Positive Pressure Ventilation equipment was used to clear the smoke.
The fire is believed to have occurred accidentally as a result of a discarded piece of lit paper that had been thrown into the waste bin.
Our crews left the scene at 7:41am.
