A large disused building is currently on fire in Don Street, Rotherham.

Five fire engines from Rotherham, Elm Lane, Parkway, Maltby and Aston Park stations were called to the scene at 3:50am on Sunday morning.

The building was well alight when crews arrived.  Firefighters are using hose reels to tackle the blaze.

There is a large amount of smoke in the area.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place once it is completely out.
