Fire at derelict Maltby school

Three fire engines attended a fire at a derelict school in Maltby, Rotherham just after 9pm on Wednesday night.

The fire was in the main hall area of the school, firefighters worked hard to contain the fire to this area.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish the blaze which is believed to have been started deliberately.

Fire crews left the scene just after midnight.
