Five fire engines were called to a fire at a recycling plant on Bolton Road in Wath upon Dearne at 1:45am on Thursday.

Fire crews from Dearne, Rotherham and Doncaster stations attended the incident.  A large amount of rubbish for recycling was on fire inside a warehouse building.

Firefighters used hose reels to tackle the blaze.

Crews left the scene at 7am.

The fire is currently under investigation but is believed to have started accidentally.
