A man has died following a fire at his home in Rotherham.

Crews were called to the incident on Glaisdale Close at 12:01pm on Sunday 12 November.

Firefighters from Doncaster, Maltby and Rotherham attended the incident. It is believed to have been a slow burning fire and it was already out when firefighters were called to the incident.

A man, believed to be in his 70s, was sadly found to have died.

A multi-agency investigation in to the cause of the fire will now take place.
