On Sunday 24 September at 8:31pm, crews responded to an incident on Retford Road in Woodhouse Mill, Rotherham.

Firefighters from Aston, Parkway, Birley Moor and Central were mobilised to the incident which involved two freight trailers that were well alight.

Upon arrival, crews found that all personnel had been safely evacuated after the sprinklers within the building actuated. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned in the morning of Monday 25 September for a final assessment.

The fire is believed to have been accidental.

Crews officially left the scene at 06:27am after re-visiting.
