Horse rescued by fire crews

Fire crews from Doncaster and Tankersley stations were called just after 9pm on Wednesday night to a horse stuck in a hole.

Firefighters found the horse on Sandall Lane in Kirsk Sandall, Doncaster with its rear legs stuck.  Crews used a harness to pull the horse to safety.

The horse is believed to have no injuries following the incident.

Firefighters left the scene at 10:40pm.
