Six fire engines (Doncaster, Adwick, Maltby, Askern and Parkway x2) attended a fire at the Premier Inn on High Fisher Gate in Doncaster at 6:30am this morning.

The fire was in a room on the 3rd floor. Around 125 people were evacuated from the hotel. Luckily no one was seriously injured.

The fire is now out, but one fire engine remains at the scene.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will now take place.
