Overnight incidents 1/2 August 2021

Two fire crews from Thorne and Doncaster stations were called out to a playground on Church Road, Stainforth, Doncaster at 7:35pm. Matting had been deliberately set on fire. The firefighters left the scene at 9:25pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended a pile of wood chippings which had been deliberately set on fire at 9:20pm on Manor Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:05pm.

At 9:55pm firefighters from Aston station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at Aughton Lane, Aston, Rotherham. The crew came away at 10:10pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 10:15pm on Norwood Crescent, Kiveton Park, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 10:50pm.

Adwick firefighters were called out to scrubland and trees on fire at 10:50pm on The Avenue, Bentley, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 12:20am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 2:05am on Walton Street, Old Town, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 2:55am.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 6:20am this morning on Dearne Street, Great Houghton, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 6:50am.
