Overnight incidents 1/2 December 2020

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 7:45pm on Wath Road, Bolton Upon Dearne, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left the scene at 8:25pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire on Old Mill Lane, Barnsley at 8:05pm. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

Three fire crews from Edlington and Doncaster station were called out to Bankwood Lane, New Rossington, Doncaster at 9:15pm. The fire was accidental and started at machinery. One man suffered slight smoke inhalation. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

At 10:05pm firefighters from Askern station attended bushes on fire on Wheatley Hall Road, Wheatley, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 10:20pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:25pm on Lowedges Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Lowedges station attended the incident. They came away at 10:45pm.

Four fire crews from Doncaster, Adwick, Edlington and Parkway stations were called out to a fire at a vets on Nostell Place, Bessacarr, Doncaster at 3:15am. There are no reports of any animals being injured in the fire. An investigation will now take place to determine the cause of the fire. The fire crews left the scene at 5:45am.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a hedge which had been deliberately set on fire at 4am on Station Road, Royston, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 4:20am.

A hedge was deliberately set on fire at 6:25am this morning at The Maltings, Canklow, Rotherham. A fire crew from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left the scene at 7am.
