Overnight incidents 10/11 January 2022

Four wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 7:45pm on Monkspring, Worsbrough Dale, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 8:20pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 7:45pm on Middlewood Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8pm.

Cudworth firefighters attended a deliberate vehicle fire on Preston Way, Monk Bretton, Barnsley at 8:45pm. The fire crew left the scene at 9:15pm.

A BMW car was deliberately set on fire at 8:50pm on Lord Street, Clifton, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 9:15pm.

Three fire crews from Parkway and Central stations attended a single storey unit at 9:05pm on Sheffield Road, Templeborough, Rotherham. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews came away at 11:30pm.

Firefighters from Aston, Birley Moor and Adwick stations were called out to a road traffic collision at 9:10pm on The Chase, Aston, Rotherham. A car had gone into a building. The crews left the scene at 10:15pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:15pm on Shirland Close, Sheffield. Firefighters from Rivelin station attended the incident. They came away at 9:55pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 10:35pm on Brecks Lane, Herringthorpe, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 10:55pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station were called out to a skip which had been deliberately set on fire at 1:55am on Woodfield Way, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 2:55am.

A fire crew from Thorne station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 4:10am on Parks Road, Dunscroft, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 4:45am.

A large amount of boxes were deliberately set on fire at Retail World, Parkgate, Rotherham at 4:35am. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 5:10am.
