A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:35pm on Smithy Bridge Lane, Hemingfield, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 11:40pm.

Four fire crews from Doncaster, Edlington and Adwick stations were called out to a flat fire at 4:55am on Thorne Road, Doncaster. There were no reported casualties. The cause of the fire is under investigation.  Crews left the scene at 6:30pm.
