Overnight incidents 15/16 April 2025

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:10pm on Long Acre View, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:35pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Peakstone Close, Balby, Doncaster at 8:25pm, The crew came away at 8:40pm.

A fire crew from Birley station attended a small fire in woods at 8:35pm on Gashouse Lane, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 9:20pm.

A transit van was deliberately set on fire at 8:45pm on Steven Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane and Tankersley stations attended the incident. The left at 9:50pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:05pm on The Lanes, East Dene, Rotherham. The crew came away at 9:15pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate rubbish fire in a car park at 9:35pm on City Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:50pm.

A wheelie bin and fence were deliberately set on fire at 9:45pm on Manor Crescent, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 10:15pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving rubbish and branches at 9:50pm on Edmunds Road, Worsbrough Dale, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 10:20pm.

Two fire crews from Doncaster station attended a deliberate bin fire at 10:35pm on Market Place, Doncaster. The crews came away at 10:55pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station were called out to a deliberate fire involving two cars at 3:05am on Butterscotch Walk, Scawthorpe, Doncaster. The crews left the scene at 3:55am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 3:15am on Glenfield Avenue, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 3:55am.
