Overnight incidents 15/16 March 2022

Tankersley firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:10pm on Millhouses Street, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7:30pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 7:25pm on Chapel Lane, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 8:20pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to an accidental fire involving grassland at 7:30pm on Scotia Close, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:45pm.

Several fire crews from Rotherham, Maltby, Central, Parkway and Lowedges stations attended a derelict building fire at 8:35pm on Market Street in Rotherham Town Centre.  The deliberate fire involved rubbish in the basement area. Crews left the scene at 9:45pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:10pm on Infield Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left the scene at 9:55pm.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 10:10pm on Woodsetts Road, North Anston, Rotherham. The crew came away at 10:25pm.

Edlington firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving a wheelie bin at 10:10pm on Sickleworks Close, Conisbrough, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 10:30pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 11:05pm on Darfield Road, Cudworth, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 11:15pm.

Two fire crews from Askern and Thorne stations were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 12:25am on East Lane, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crews left the scene at 12:40am.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire on King Street, Sheffield at 2:10am. The crew came away at 2:45am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane and Parkway stations were called out to a fire involving a tractor unit at 3:05am on Bold Street, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 3:40am.
