Overnight Incidents 15/16 September 2025

One fire engine attended a car fire on Gipsy Lane, Maltby, Rotherham after a call was received at 5.13pm. On arrival the car was well alight on arrival and crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The incident had been dealt with by 5.37pm.

One fire engine involving a moped which spread to hedges on Stadium Way, Doncaster after a call was received at 6.06pm. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire which was dealt with by 6.19pm.

One fire engine attended a car fire on Lumley Street, Sheffield after a call was received at 12.27am. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire and the incident had been dealt with by 12.44am.

One fire engine attended a car fire on Hanover Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley after a call was received at 12.31am. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire and the incident had been dealt with by 1.03am.

Five fire engines and one aerial ladder platform attended a fire at a derelict house on Vaughan Avenue, Doncaster after a call was received at 4.41am. The fire was located in the attic bedroom and spread to the neighbouring property through the roof space. Three hose reels and one jet were used to extinguish the fire which was dealt with by 8am. The was fire is believed to have been caused accidentally.
