Overnight incidents 16/17 January 2024

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a bush on Manor Road, Maltby, Rotherham at 7:20pm. The crew left the scene at 7:35pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended an accidental fire involving garden waste at 10:30pm on Manor Laith Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 11pm.

Three fire crews from Dearne and Adwick stations were called out to a small fire in a property under construction at 10:45pm on High Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 11:50pm.

A wheelie bin was accidentally on fire at 12:25am on Balby Road, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 12:35am.

Thorne firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving a car at 1am on Thorne Road, Hatfield, Doncaster. The crew came away at 1:40am.
