Overnight incidents 16/17 June 2022

Three fire crews from Thorne and Doncaster stations were called out to a shed and dog kennel on fire at 7:15pm on Norwood Road, Dunscroft, Doncaster. When crews arrived the fire had already spread slightly to three vehicles. One casualty was taken to hospital. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 9:15pm.

Edlington firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving bushes and trees at 8:35pm on Woodfield Way, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9pm.

Firefighters from Central station were called out to a deliberate fire involving undergrowth at 8:50pm on Skye Edge Avenue, Sheffield. The crew came away at 9:10pm.

Cudworth firefighters attended a deliberate grassland fire on Burton Road, Monk Bretton, Barnsley at 8:55pm. The crew left the scene at 9:30pm.

A car was accidentally set on fire at 12:10am on Epworth Road, Hatfield, Doncaster. Firefighters from Thorne Station attended the incident. They left at 12:35am.
