Overnight incidents 17/18 January 2022

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:20pm on Concord Park, Shiregreen Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 7:35pm.

Three fire crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire in a bin store at 8:55pm on Longley Hall Way, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 9:45pm.

Firefighters from Lowedges, Central and Parkway stations attended a deliberate car fire at 9:10pm on Landseer Close, Sheffield. The crews came away at 10:25pm.

Adwick and Edlington firefighters were called out to a large vehicle fire at 2:20am on Rockingham Way, Brodsworth, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 3:05am.

A transit van was deliberately set on fire at 3:40am on Magna Way, Templeborough, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 4:50am.

Two fire crews from Barnsley and Tankersley station were called out to a road traffic collision at 6:10am on Park Road, Worsbrough, Barnsley. Two cars were involving in the incident and one person was trapped. Crews extricated the casualty and left them in the care of the paramedics. Crews came away at 6:50am.
