Overnight incidents 18/19 August 2024

Elm Lane firefighters were called out at 7:05pm to a deliberate grass fire on Wordsworth Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 7:30pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:30pm on Myrtle Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 7:40pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate fire involving a hay bale at 8:50pm on Campsall Road, Askern, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:45pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9pm on Sandford Road, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9:10pm.

Firefighters from Askern station attended a deliberate fire in a field at 11pm on Campsall Road, Askern, Doncaster. The crew came away at 11:40pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving rubbish at 12:05am on Hellaby Lane, Hellaby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 1:45am.

Two cars were deliberately set on fire at 12:30am on Church Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 1:20am.

Stocksbridge firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 1:20am on Fox Street, Sheffield. The crew came away at 2:05am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended an accidental fire involving a fence at 1:30am on Honeysuckle Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 1:50am.

Two vans were deliberately set on fire at 5:40am on Vale Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane and Central stations attended the incident. They left at 6:40am.
