Two fire engines attended a house fire on Ruston Drive, Royston, Barnsley after a call was received at 8.18pm. On arrival. crews found that everyone had already exited the property and located the fire in a bedroom. The fire, involving a small amount of cloth and paper, was extinguished using one hose reel. The incident had been dealt with shortly after 9pm.

One fire engine attended a car fire on  St Johns Road, East Dene, Rotherham after a call was received at 2.21am. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire and the incident had been dealt with by 2.53am.
