Overnight incidents 18/19 June 2025

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:30pm on Steadfolds Lane, Thurcroft, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:10pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 7:40pm on Wood Lane, Treeton, Rotherham. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:25pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate fire involving grass and a hedge at 7:40pm on Pavilion Lane, Brinsworth, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8:05pm.

Two fire crews from Cudworth and Tankersley stations were called out to a deliberate grass fire at 7:55pm on Lindhurst Road, Athersley North, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 10:35pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving cut hay at 8:30pm on Cross Street, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9pm.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 8:40pm on Queen Mary Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 9:15pm.

Firefighters from Birley station were called out to an accidental fire involving a garden shed at 11:10pm on Wardlow Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 12:20am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 11:55pm on Eastern Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 12:20am.

Three fire crews from Aston, Birley and Maltby stations attended a premise fire at 3:35am on De Sutton Place, Harthill, Rotherham. There were no reports of any casualties. The accidental fire involved an e-bike. Crews left the scene at 4:55am.
