Overnight incidents 19/20 July 2020

A garden fire was out of control at 9:45pm on Dewhill Avenue, Whiston, Rotherham. A fire crew from Rotherham station were called out to the incident. They left the scene at 10:05pm.

Maltby firefighters attended a garden fire at 9:50pm on Herringthorpe Valley Road, Herringthorpe, Rotherham which had spread to a fence and tree. The fire started accidentally. Firefighters left the scene at 10:20pm.

At 10:05pm Rotherham firefighters were called to a deliberate grass fire on scrubland on Henley Lane, Thornhill, Rotherham. The crew left at 10:30pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:20pm on Common Lane, Royston, Barnsley. The crew left at 11:35pm.

Three fire crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations attended a premise fire at 12:55am on Tideswell Road, Sheffield. The fire was in the living room and is believed to have started accidentally. Three people were already out of the premise when crews arrived. Firefighters left the scene at 2:35am.

Doncaster firefighters attended a shop at 1am on Hayfield Lane, Auckley, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 1:35am.

A Volvo car was deliberately set on fire at 1:15am on Morgan Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They came away at 1:35pm.
