Firefighters carry out water rescue training

Overnight incidents 19/20 July 2021

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to two mattresses on fire outside at Lytton Crescent, Sheffield at 9:40pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The fire crew left the scene at 10pm.

Maltby firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 10pm on Blyth Road, Maltby, Rotherham. Firefighters left the scene at 10:10pm.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 12:35am on Pollard Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 12:50am.

A minibus was deliberately set on fire on Bramwith Lane, Barnsley, Doncaster at 1:05am. A fire crew from Doncaster station attended the incident. They came away at 1:50am.

Two fire crews from Rotherham and Aston stations were called out to a road traffic collision at 1:15am on Doncaster Road, East Dene, Rotherham. Two vehicles were involved and there were four casualties. Firefighters left the scene at 3:45am.

A skip was accidentally on fire at 2:40am on Derek Dooley Way, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 3:10am.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a rubbish fire at 2:45am on Church Street, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 5:50am.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 3:15am on Avondale Road, Masbrough, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 3:35am.

At 3:25am firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate vehicle fire on Wannop Street, Parkgate, Rotherham. The crew came away at 4:10am.
