Overnight incidents – 20/21 May

Firefighters from Cudworth were called to Victoria Street, Goldthorpe, at 7.33pm. Upon arrival they found a metal drum, containing household rubbish, well alight in a ginnel. This was dealt with by 8.18pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Edlington were called to Beever Street, Goldthorpe, at 1.26am. Upon arrival they found a pile of garden waste on fire in an alley way. This was dealt with by 1.44am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central were called to Norwood Close, Sheffield, at 2.05am. Upon arrival they found two Vauxhall Astra cars, on opposite sides of the road, well alight. This was dealt with by 2.53am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to Europa Avenue, Sheffield, at 4.18pm. Upon arrival they found some trees and fencing on fire. This was dealt with by 5.11am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
