Overnight incidents 20/21 October 2022

Rotherham firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving an underground electrical cable at 7:05pm on Cinder Bridge Road, Greasbrough, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 10:05pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:35pm on Skye Edge Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:45pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 9:20pm on Sands Close, Sheffield. The crew came away at 9:50pm.

Firefighters from Tankersley station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Crane Moor Road, Crane Moor, Barnsley at 9:30pm. The crew left the scene at 10:05pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 9:55pm on Beever Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 10:40pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:25pm on Infield Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11pm.

Three fire crews from Doncaster and Edlington stations were called out to a premise fire at 12:15am on Senior Road, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 1:45am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 5:30am on Gate Park, Parkgate, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident at 6:15am.
