Overnight incidents 22/23 January 2024

Aston firefighters were called out to two wheelie bins on fire at 8pm on High Street, Beighton, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 8:10pm on Forge Lane, Wortley, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley stations attended the incident. They left at 8:55pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 8:50pm on Chestnut Avenue, Carcroft, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:10pm.

Doncaster firefighters attended an accidental rubbish fire at 11:10pm on Ellerker Avenue, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:45pm.

Three fire crews from Dearne and Edlington stations were called out to a deliberate fire involving fencing and a wheelie bin at 1:20am on Windhill Crescent, Mexborough, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 2:05am.

A transit van was deliberately set on fire at 2:55am on Manor Park Centre, Sheffield at 2:55am. Firefighters from Parkway and Central attended the incident. They left at 3:30am.

Birley firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 3am on Skelton Lane, Woodhouse, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 3:45am.

Two fire crews from Cudworth and Barnsley station were called out to a derelict building fire at 3am on Brierley Road, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started deliberately. The crews came away at 5:15am.
