Overnight incidents 22/23 March 2021

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 9:05pm on Pontefract Road, Lundwood, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left the scene at 9:30pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to two wheelie bins which had been deliberately set on fire at 9:20pm on Sheffield Road, Warmsworth, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9:35pm.

At 9:25pm a fire crew from Rotherham station attended a deliberate rubbish fire in the stairwell of flats at Holywell Place, Rotherham Town Centre. Firefighters left the scene at 9:55pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire in a skate park at 9:30pm on Pontefract Road, Lundwood, Barnsley. The fire crew came away at 9:40pm.

A fire crew from Edlington station attended a deliberate fire involving a bush on Cadeby Road, Sprotbrough, Doncaster at 11:05pm. The crew left the scene at 11:35pm.

At 2:50am a fire crew from Edlington station were called out to a premise on Grace Road, Edlington, Doncaster. A snake tank was involved in the fire which had started accidentally due to an electrical fault. Luckily no animals were injured during the incident. Firefighters left the scene at 3:50am.

Edlington firefighters were called out to conifers on fire at 4:35am on Sandford Road, Balby, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 5:05am.
