Firefighters from Cudworth were called to a scrubland fire on Cross Lane, Royston at 7.11pm last night. This was around 20 square metres worth of land. They had extinguished the fire by 8pm and it is thought to have been started deliberately.
Firefighters from Barnsley were called to Berrydale, Worsborough Bridge, at 7.27pm last night, to a large garden bonfire close to a fence. This was extinguished by the crew who then gave the occupier advice on burning regulations. This had been dealt with by 8pm.

Firefighters from Central were called to Burngreave Road, Sheffield, at 10.09pm last night. Upon arrival they found a small fire in the front garden of a property. It is thought this fire had been started deliberately – it was extinguished by 10.40pm.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to a car fire near Angleton Green, Sheffield, last night at around 11.07pm. Upon arrival they found an abandoned car, well alight, in the middle of a field. It is thought to have been started deliberately and crews left the scene at 11.50pm.
Firefighters from Rotherham were called to a car fire on Psalters Lane Holmes, Rotherham, at 03.36am this morning. The vehicle was well alight and crews had extinguished the fire by 5.15am. It is thought to have been started deliberately.
