Overnight incidents – 22/23 October

Firefighters from Adwick were called to Marsh Lane, Arskey, at 7.05pm. Upon arrival they found a large pile of waste well alight near a railway line. This was dealt with by 7.56pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Birley Moor were called to White Lane, Gleadless, at 7.49pm. Upon arrival they found a bench on fire. This was dealt with by 8.11pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to Manor Park Crescent, Sheffield, at 9.48pm. Upon arrival they found a wheelie bin on fire on a path. This was dealt with by 10.38pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Cudworth were called to Lang Avenue, Lundwood, at 10.22pm. Upon arrival they found a wheelie bin on fire. This was deal with by 10.46pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to Medlock Close, Sheffield, at 5.14am. Upon arrival they found a car on fire outside a house. This was dealt with by 6.57am and is thought to have started accidentally, within the engine compartment.
