Two fire crews from Rotherham and Maltby stations were called out to a tumble dryer on fire at a premise on Chesterhill Avenue, Dalton, Rotherham at 8:15pm. Luckily there were no casualties. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 9:20pm.

Maltby firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving conifers at 9:10pm on Flanderwell Lane, Sunnyside, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:30pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to a deliberate rubbish fire at 1:30am on Centenary Way, Canklow, Rotherham. The crew came away at 1:40am.
