Overnight incidents 24/25 June 2021

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving grass and bracken at 7:15pm on Twibell Street, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7:55pm.

Two fire engines from Central station attended an accidental fire involving waste recycling at 7:40pm on Parkwood Road, Sheffield. The crews came away at 9:10pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to a fence fire on Hadfield Close, Sheffield at 8pm. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew left the incident at 8:25pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:45pm on Peel Street, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 11pm.

Two vans were deliberately set on fire on Lock House Road, Sheffield at 11:40pm. Elm Lane station attended the incident. They came away at 12:40am.

Three fire crews from Birley Moor and Aston station were called out to machinery on fire at 12am on Holbrook Avenue, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 1:10am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12:35am on Keresforth Road, Dodworth, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 1am.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 12:55am on Bellscroft Avenue, Thrybergh, Rotherham. They left the scene at 1:15am.

Firefighters from Barnsley station attended a deliberate bin fire at 2:20am on Broadway, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 2:30am.

At 3am this morning a speed camera was deliberately set on fire on Penistone Road, Grenoside, Sheffield. Elm Lane firefighters attended the incident. They came away at 3:15am.
