Overnight incidents – 24/25 March

Firefighters from Maltby were called to Blyth Road, Maltby, at 7.05pm. Upon arrival they found a fire in some bushes. This was dealt with by 7.17pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Rossington were called to Walpole Close, Balby, at 7.15pm. Upon arrival they found some rubbish on fire in a children’s playground. This was dealt with by 8pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Pexton Road, Sheffield, at 8.12pm. Upon arrival they found a large amount of waste well alight to the rear of a property. This was dealt with by 9.18pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Lowedges were called to Whinacre Walk, Sheffield, at 9.15pm. Upon arrival they found a bin on fire. This was dealt with by 9.41pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to Greenland View, Sheffield, at 4.40am. Upon arrival they found a Toyota Yaris well alight. This was dealt with by 5.23am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
