Overnight incidents 25/26 June 2024

Doncaster firefighters were called out to an accidental bin fire at 7:20pm on The Avenue, Bentley, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:45pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate fire involving rubbish and garden waste at 8:15pm on Doncaster Road, East Dene, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8:45pm.

Two fire crews from Parkway and Central stations were called out to an accidental lorry fire at 8:50pm on Wellington Place, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 9:15pm.

Birley firefighters attended a road traffic collision at 9:50pm on Sheffield Road, Woodhouse, Sheffield. The incident involved 3 vehicles. There were no reports of any casualties. Crews left the scene at 10pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate fire involving a tree at 11:50pm on Algar Close, Sheffield. The crew came away at 12am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12:55am on Windlass Close, Thorne, Doncaster. Firefighters from Thorne station attended the incident. They left at 1:35am.

Fire crews from Rossington, Doncaster, Edlington and Parkway stations attended a fire at a derelict church at 2:10am on Nelson Road, New Rossington, Doncaster. The church was well alight. Nearby premises were evacuated as a precaution. There were no reports of any casualties. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 6:50am.
