Overnight incidents 26/27 December 2023

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:40pm on Fretson Close, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 7:50pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 8:20pm on Exeter Drive, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:35pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 8:25pm on Coppice Road, Highfields, Doncaster. The crew came away at 8:50pm.

Three fire crews from Edlington, Dearne and Rotherham stations were called out to an accidental premise fire at 10:25pm on Dearne Street, Conisbrough, Doncaster. All occupants were out of the premise when crews arrived, but two dogs were still inside.  Firefighters rescued the dogs safely. Crews left the scene at 12:05am.

Maltby firefighters attended three vans on fire at 10:45pm on Red Quarry Lane, Gildingwells, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 12:35am.
