Overnight incidents 26/27 November 2024

A car was deliberately set on fire at 8:15pm on Bramwith Lane, Barnby Dun, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 9pm.

Three fire crews from Central and Rivelin stations attended a premise on Oxford Street, Sheffield at 8:35pm. The deliberate fire involved the front entrance area. Firefighters led the occupant out of the premise. Crews left the scene at 10:35pm.

Tankersley and Stocksbridge stations were called out to a road traffic collision at 9pm on Manchester Road, Stocksbridge, Sheffield. One car had gone into the steps of a property and a gas pipe was affected. Crews left the scene at 10:30pm.

Several fire crews from Doncaster, Edlington, Adwick and Rossington stations attended an accidental flat fire at 9:30pm on Grove Place, Balby Bridge, Doncaster. The fire was already out when crews arrived due to the sprinkler system. Two casualties suffered slight smoke inhalation. The crews left the scene at 10:35pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:40pm on Salterbrook Road, Darfield, Barnsley. The crew came away at 11:05pm.

Firefighters from Barnsley station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 1:25am on Wakefield Road, Smithies, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 2:25am.
