Overnight incidents 26/27 October 2021

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:05pm on Mortomley Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 7:25pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 8pm on Midland Road, Royston, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:20pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 8:15pm on High Street, Askern, Doncaster. The fire crew came away at 8:45pm.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:45pm on Doe Quarry Terrace, Dinnington, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 10:40pm on Barnsley Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They came away at 11pm.

Three fire crews from Thorne and Doncaster stations were called out to an accidental fire involving a storage unit at 1:15am on Marshland Road, Moorends, Doncaster. The crews left the scene at 2:40am.

Firefighters from Dearne, Rotherham and Edlington station were called out to a premise fire at 1:35am on Hawthorne Crescent, Mesborough, Doncaster. The accidental fire is believed to have started due to a candle. The crew left the scene at 2:55am.

Three fire crews from Birley Moor, Parkway and Central stations were called out to an accidental fire involving an outbuilding at 4am on Kilvington Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 5am.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a small fire on scrubland at 5:05am on Droves Dale Road, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. The crew came away at 5:30am.

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 5:50am on Palgrave Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 6:15am.
