Overnight incidents 28/29 February 2024

Four wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 7:45pm on Leighton Place, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 8:15pm.

Several fire crews attended a derelict premise fire at 9:10pm on Don Street, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 11:30pm.

A camper van was deliberately set on fire at 1:10am on Upper Rye Close, Whiston, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 2am.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving garden waste at 3am on Lords Head Lane, Warmsworth, Doncaster. The crew came away at 3:10am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended five wheelie bins on fire at 5:05am on Standish Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 5:50am.
