Overnight incidents 28/29 June 2023

Two fire crews from Askern and Adwick stations were called out to a deliberate fire in a derelict building at 7:10pm on Station Road, Askern, Doncaster. The crews left the scene at 8:10pm.

Elm Lane firefighters attended an accidental rubbish fire at 8:35pm on Richmond Park Avenue, Kimberworth, Rotherham. The crew came away at 9:10pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station were called out to a deliberate fire involving a suitcase and rubbish at 8:55pm on Longley Hall Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:10pm.

Edlington firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish at 9:50pm on Church Road, Denaby Main, Doncaster. The crew came away at 10pm.

A car was accidentally on fire at 10:40pm on Wellhouse Lane, Penistone, Barnsley. Firefighters from Penistone station attended the incident. They left at 11:30pm.

Three fire crews from Edlington and Doncaster stations were called out to a flat fire at 2:35am on Waverley Avenue, Balby, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 4:10am.

A van was accidentally on fire at 5:30am on Moor Lane South, Ravenfield, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 6:35am.

Tankersley station were called out to an accidental fire involving a car at 6am on Gray Street, Elsecar, Barnsley. The crew came away at 7:50am.
