Overnight incidents 29/30 April 2025

Tankersley station attended an accidental fire involving grass and scrubland at 7:25pm on Wombwell Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:25pm.

Firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving garden furniture on Coronation Avenue, Grimethorpe, Barnsley at 7:40pm. The crew came away at 8:05pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:20pm on Birley Spa Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley station attended the incident. They left at 8:35pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate fire in woodland at 8:40pm on Valley Road, Wombwell, Barnsely. The crew left the scene at 10:05pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended an accidental grassland fire at 8:50pm on The Green, Old Denaby, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:55pm.

A bin was accidentally on fire at 9:20pm on Herald Road, Edenthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 9:40pm.

Adwick firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:30pm on Cooperative Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 9:55pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:15pm on Sundown Place, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 11:15pm.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate motorbike fire at 11:10pm on Littlemoor Lane, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:35pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:45pm on Ogden Road, Wheatley Hills, Doncaster. The crew came away at 12am.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving grass and bushes at 1:25am on Grimsell Close, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 1:55am.

Three fire crews from Rotherham, Maltby and Parkway stations attended a fire at flats on Albion Road, Clifton, Rotherham at 2:25am. The accidental fire involved an e-bike on a balcony. There were no reports of any casualties. Crews left the scene at 4:20am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 4:25am on Wentworth Road, Wheatley, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 4:50am.
