Overnight incidents 29/30 July 2021

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:35pm on Lancaster Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

A wheelie bin and bench were deliberately set on fire at 9:50pm on Wombwell Lane, Stairfoot, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 10:10pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate skip fire at 9:55pm on Beale Way, Parkgate, Rotherham. The crew came away at 10:30pm.

Three bins were deliberately set on fire at 11:40pm on Hope Street, Stocksbridge, Sheffield. Firefighters from Stocksbridge station attended the incident. They left at 12:05am.

Firefighters from Cudworth, Barnsley and Tankersley station were called out to a premise fire at 11:45pm on Sheffield Road, Barnsley. The roof was involved in the fire. Luckily there were no reports of any casualties. The crews left the scene at 2:40am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12:15am on Fox Hill Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 12:55am.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 12:30am on Gray Avenue, Swallownest, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 2:20am.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate bin fire at 2:30am on Summer Lane, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 2:55am.

A vehicle was accidentally on fire at 5:35am on Firshill Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They came away at 6:30am.
