Overnight incidents 29/30 May 2025

Dearne firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving a hedge at 8:55pm on Lister Row, Great Houghton, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 9:40pm.

Firefighters from Parkway, Central and Elm Lane firefighters attended a deliberate fire on allotments at Infield Lane, Sheffield at 9:45pm. The crews came away at 11:40pm.

Lowedges and Central firefighters were called out to an accidental vehicle fire on Greenhill Parkway, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 11:45pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:40pm on City Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 11:05pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a mattress in a field on Mowbray Gardens, East Dene, Rotherham at 11:05pm. The crew left the scene at 11:20pm.

Central firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:35pm on Brimmesfield Drive, Sheffield. The crew came away at 11:50pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:35pm on Long Acrew View, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 12:05am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 11:55pm on Balk Lane, Woodlands, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 12:10am.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 1:15am on Charles Street, Thurcroft, Rotherham. The crew came away at 1:30am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 1:20am on Oldcoates Road, Dinnington, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left the scene at 2:05am.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 2:35am on Meadow View, Lundwood, Barnsley. The crew came away at 2:45am.
