Crews from Adwick and Dearne attended a fire located in a small outbuilding on Houghton Road, Thurnscoe, Barnsley after a call was received at 10.26pm. A fire involving a small amount of rubbish within the building had spread to the roof. One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been set deliberately. Firefighters had dealt with the incident by 11.10pm.

One crew from Elm Lane attended a fire on Eccles Street, Sheffield involving an outside toilet after a call was received at 1.08am. The fire spread from a garden incinerator to the wooden door of the toilet and the timber on the roof. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire and firefighters left the scene at 2.10am.
