One crew from Central Fire Station attended a car fire on Bannerdale Road, Sheffield after a call was received at 2.12am. The fire was mostly burnt out on arrival but crews used a hose reel to cool the last remaining hot spots. The incident had been dealt with by 2.32am.

One crew from Dearne attended a fire involving two cars on Barnburgh Lane, Goldthorpe, Barnsley after a call was received at 3.53am. Two hose reels were used to extinguish the fire. The incident had been dealt with by 4.49am. The fire is believed to have been set deliberately.
