Overnight incidents 3/4 June 2021

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:20pm on Mortimer Road, Malby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 7:40pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:15pm on High Street, Norton, Doncaster. Firefighters from Askern station attended the incident. They left the scene at 10:10pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended a fire on grassland at 9:20pm on Hill Top Road, Denaby Main, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 9:50pm.

A mobility scooter was deliberately set on fire at 10:25pm on Rainford Drive, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They came away at 11pm.

Three fire crews from Edlington, Rotherham and Dearne stations attended a premise fire at 12:05am on Sheffield Road, Conisbrough, Doncaster. The fire was in the bedroom. One man and a dog were already out of the property when crews arrived. Another dog was rescued by firefighters. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 2:30am.

Two fire crews from Rotherham and Dearne stations were called out to a deliberate car fire at 3:10am on Monkwood Road, Rawmarsh, Rotherham. The crews left the scene at 4:05am.

Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended a billboard fire at 3:55am on Sheffield Road, Templeborough, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 4:50am.

A park bench was deliberately set on fire at 4am on Ferrymoor Way, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left the scene at 4:30am.
