Overnight incidents 30/31 December 2020

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7pm on Fenton Way, Munsbrough, Rotherham. They left the scene at 7:40pm.

At 7:55pm a fire crew from Cudworth station attended a fire involving cardboard on Pontefract Road, Lundwood, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:20pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called out to a chimney fire at 8:50pm on Park Road, Swinton, Rotherham. The firefighters were able to extinguish the accidental fire from the fireplace. The crew left at 9:35pm.

Central firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:35pm on Erskine Crescent, Sheffield. They left the scene at 9:50pm.

At 12:55am a fire crew from Rotherham station were called out to deliberate rubbish fire on Canklow Hill Road, Canklow, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 1:05am.

Two fire crews from Central station were called out to road traffic collision at 2:05am on Broadfield Road, Sheffield. One car was involved in the incident and was on its roof with one person trapped. Firefighters extricated the casualty. The crews left the scene at 3:15am.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 3:50am this morning on Shiregreen Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 4:10am.
